Like most women, I've never been a huge fan of shopping for swimwear. Besides the normal grievances that go along with finding that elusive, perfect suit {one that makes me look like Heidi Klum, please!} I could never find any that were cute as well as practical! Until the day that the stars aligned and led me to Vitamin A by Amahlia Stevens swimwear.  I kid you not, this woman has designed a swimsuit that no one can look bad in! I've been wearing them since high school and, although the designs have been tweaked slightly over the years, the reasons why I love her pieces are still the same: they stay put, they're not overly scandalous, and, although they don't magically turn me into a Victoria's Secret model, they sure do make me feel like one!:) So, if you're struggling to find that perfect suit for summer, I would definitely recommend checking them out!

Friday's Fancies :: Color Block

Color blocking is one of my favorite things, so I was super excited when AV announced that this week's Friday's Fancies was all about color! It's such an easy trend to add into your wardrobe and something that anyone + everyone can make work for their body type! Plus, if you're not feeling super adventurous you can still stay on trend by adding just a touch of color to your shoes or earrings!

So, back in March and April I was posting a ton of DIY projects for my upcoming Sister-in-Law's Baby Shower, but I never ended up showing you guys the final product! Well, two of my favorite blogs for babies + parties are doing just that today!  Kim over at Pretty Little Baby featured the Cute as a Button themed shower last Thursday and Rosie at Love Luxe featured the shower today! I would definitely encourage you guys to check out both blogs--they cater to totally different crowds--one for the baby lovers + one for party lovers! Since moving to the UK, we've hardly taken any pictures of this amazing city, so when one of my best friends from CA came to visit we took full advantage of her camera and took her out on a very touristy tour of our lovely Edinburgh! Enjoy!:)
